| WELCOME! I am
Roger Harmon, County Judge of Johnson County and I want to share my appreciation
for this County with you. I became County Judge in 1994 and it has been
one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. The people I have met
and the many different aspects of County business have been both satisfying
and challenging. Some of the general county administrative functions,
given by law to the County Judge are presiding officer of the Commissioner's
Court (Tex. Const. Art. V, Sec. 18) and Judge of the county court (Tex.
Const. Art. V, Sec. 15). As such, the county judge is often thought of
as the chief executive officer of the county and therefore is often the
principal source of information and assistance. As the presiding officer
of the Commissioner's Court, I am the only member of the Court elected
by all the citizens of the County. |
| My goal with this website is to give you access to and information
