The Sr.
Administrative Assistant is responsible for County legal postings,
organization of the Agenda for Commissioner’s Court and any assistance
to members of the Court. She is also responsible for the County
Judge’s calendar and for the day-to-day administration of the County
Judge’s Office. Our office always stands ready to help county
residents and other county employees in any way they may need.

Alison is
the first person you meet or talk with in the County Judge’s Office and
always has a smile for you. She receives all telephone calls and is
responsible for all filing of documents. The Secretary is responsible for
assembling the Agenda books for the Court and in supporting the office in
many essential ways. She coordinates all the FEMA money, which is given
to local volunteer groups and coordinates the Rover Program. |

The Mail clerk is crucial to each office in the County.
She is instrumental in the prompt delivery of incoming mail and internal
office communications. She is also responsible for processing outgoing
mail and meeting Post Office deadlines. |

The Rovers
provide vital assistance to all County offices when there are staff
shortages due to vacations or illness and during periods when work volume
is unusually high. |

Virgil
coordinates the people who Adult Probation has for Community Service with
the request from the County Departments for assistance. These range from
yard work to stuffing envelopes in the Tax Office, which saves many
dollars for the County. |
