OBTAINING A LIVESTOCK BRAND
Livestock owners please register new marks/brands in person at the Johnson County Clerk's Office at 2 N. Main St. Rm B15 Cleburne TX, located in the basement of the Historic Courthouse in downtown Cleburne. Re-registering an existing brand may be done in person or by mailing the application with appropriate fees to:

1. Livestock owners will need to research the current Mark and Brand book to verify that the brand they have chosen is not presently owned by another.
2. Upon verification, the livestock owner will complete the "Marks and Brand Application".
3. Pay appropriate fee(s).
4. Completed "Certificate of Registration" will be processed and returned to the owner.
5. Copy will be sent within 30 days to TSCRA (Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association).
