OBTAINING A MARRIAGE LICENSE

• 1. Must be at least 18 years of age
• 2. Both parties must be present
• 3. Must have valid driver's license, state ID or passport
• 4. There is a 72 hour waiting period after license is issued before being married
• 5. Must get married within 30 days from date license is issued
• 6. Cash or credit card (add 5% processing fee for credit card use)

OBTAINING A COPY OF A MARRIAGE LICENSE

Copies may be obtained at any one of the courthouse locations listed below.

If you are obtaining the copy in person, you will need to know the following information.  If you are requesting the information by mail you will need to include the following information:

• 1. Full Name of Groom
• 2. Full Name of Bride at the time she applied for marriage license
• 3. The Year of the Marriage
