Johnson County CRCG
Meetings are held monthly on the 4th Wednesday at 1:00 PM
Cleburne ISD Administration Building @ 505 N. Ridgeway
OUR PAST . . .
Community Resource Coordination Groups (CRCGs), for 31 years, have worked to improve access to community-based services for children, youth, families and adults through collaboration among public and private agencies and organizations, community members, and family representatives.
OUR PRESENT . . .
CRCGs are county-based and are located across the state, with 141 CRCGs covering 235 counties. Each CRCG functions independently and is guided by local community needs. CRCGs serve individuals and families whose needs cannot be met by a single agency and can benefit from multiagency collaboration.
By embracing system of care values of being family driven, youth-guided, community-based, and culturally and linguistically competent, CRCGs are able to find creative, collaborative solutions for individuals with complex needs in the least restrictive environment. CRCGs also play an important role in informing local systems of care, the state CRCG office, the legislature and the governor of local service gaps, barriers and opportunities to improve service delivery.
AND OUR FUTURE . . . .
Agency representatives are tasked with contributing to decisions and recommendations made by the local CRCG as well as contributing resources toward resolving problems of people needing Agency services.
CRCGs continue to be effective at collaborating with their communities, increasing communication, decreasing duplication of services, and finding creative solutions to best serve children and families in their communities. Please continue to show your support by encouraging participation at local CRCGs and increasing awareness of this valuable resource.
