County programs must provide the basic health care services as defined in Chapter 61. All services must be medically necessary. Some services include: primary care, immunizations, inpatient and outpatient hospital services, lab and x-ray, skilled nursing facilities, and three prescriptions a month. However, durable medical equipment, home health care, counseling, emergency transportation, dental, and vision are all services that are not covered through the program. |
