We are a multi-purpose office and serve the citizens of Johnson County in many ways. Our office is located on the third floor of the Johnson County Annex, west of the Courthouse. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Public Works reviews plats and inspects roadways in preparation for placement on the Commissioner's Court agenda. We are the local authority for the FEMA Flood Management program and keep on file flood studies and surveys. Our office provides septic system inspections, address septic complaints and issue permits
